The pictures show great progress in the past week on the final steps needed before we move into our new spaces on November 8th. The sidewalk to the new main entrance has now been poured leaving only two more sidewalk pours that need to be completed, which should be done this week depending on the weather. Flooring installation has started with carpet and tile being installed in the green room, which is behind the stage, and on the stage itself. Note also in the 4th picture below the stained glass lightboxes that have been hung, made from the stained glass windows that were in our sanctuary in the past. The stage lighting and sound system should be done this week. Most everything is done in the Youth addition, including HVAC (we have heat!). Everything is now done in the Kids addition except the HVAC and flooring, which will be installed in the next couple of weeks. Cabinet tops for the green room and Youth addition should come in this week.

You will have the opportunity to sign the new Worship Center and Kid’s-addition floors on Tuesday and Wednesday nights (October 20th & 21st) and again in the Kid’s area this weekend on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 and Sunday 9:00 – 1:00 (October 24th & 25th). Ron Smalley will be on hand and have sharpies you can use, or you can bring your own. Take the time to write your favorite scripture, your praises to God or your prayer for God’s will to be done according to the new tools He has provided us in this expanded building.
